Vickers and Barrass have welcomed a Postgraduate from Northumbria University to join our ever-expanding team. Dan Moralee joins the team as Trainee Surveyor based at the Tow Law office in County Durham. Dan graduated from Newcastle University with a Bachelor’s degree in Rural Studies in 2021. After graduating he decided to further study a Masters in Real Estate at Northumbria University.
Dan commented “I am continuing my Masters and will qualify in September this year, so it is fantastic to be working at Vickers and Barrass to gain practical knowledge at the same time.”
Holly Stafford, Director at Vickers and Barrass said “Dan joins us with a solid background in Rural Studies which means that he understands the countryside and in continuing his professional development with his RICS Accredited Masters in Real Estate he will be on track to start his Assessment of Professional Competence to gain RICS accreditation as a Chartered Surveyor. With Directors at the helm of our organisation who have graduated in the same field, we feel best placed to support him in his role and studies and are delighted that he has chosen to work with us”.
In the Summer Dan enjoys travelling around the United Kingdom with a local heavy horse team competing in classes at Agricultural Shows. The furthest south he travels is the Great Dorset Steam Fair and as far north as the Royal Highland Show. Apart from showing Clydesdale and Shire horses Dan helps run his local metal detecting club, which sees him travelling around North Yorkshire to metal detect on farmer’s fields.
