Important update on your 2015 Basic Payment Scheme Application

Further clarification has been provided by the RPA about where pre-populated BP5 forms will be emailed.  A pre-populated BP5 form should automatically be emailed for any farmer who claimed SPS in 2013 or 2014 and has at least 5 hectares of eligible land.

The form will be emailed to the person who has "submit" BPs claims permission for the farming business on the Rural Payments system.  If there is more than one person associated with the business who has the "submit" permission then a copy of the pre-populated BP5 will be emailed to each person.

Where a Firm of Agents has been set up on the Rural Payments system, the BP5 form should be emailed to the email address held for that Firm.  If however a Firm of Agents has not been set up, a copy of the BP5 form will be emailed to each agent who has "submit" BPS claims permission.

The email addressess used will be those that were held on the system as of close of play on Saturday 11 April 2015 so any amendments now made to emails on Rural Payments will have no effect on where the pre-populated BP5 is sent.

RPA have confirmed that the deadline for submission of Basic Payment is 15 June 2015.
