BPS 2016 Outstanding Transfer of Entitlements

The RPA are still working through the BPS 2016 entitlement transfers and are aiming to complete all of the outstanding work by end of this month. They have advised that when they have completed the transfer confirmation is sent electronically via your messages on the Rural Payments system. Vickers and Barrass have found this not to be the case and we would advise you to contact the RPA helpline if you have not received confirmation by the end of the month.

In recent weeks Vickers & Barrass have come across various issues which have not been correctly addressed by the RPA and have found the answers their helpline are providing are not helpful to at anyone. Each month priority for the RPA seems to change – in a recent letter to some of our clients the RPA say at the moment their focus is on making payments for BPS 2015 claims and then making payments for BPS 2016. The RPA’s method of working continues to baffle us all.
